    Graduate Admission Criteria

    1. Evidence of a new birth in Jesus Christ.
    2. Willingness to subscribe to the ideals and patterns of life and conduct of the Northwestern community, as outlined in the "Declaration of Christian Community".
    3. A bachelor's degree earned from a regionally, nationally, professionally, or specialized accredited institution as listed in the Higher Education Directory, with a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative GPA. Degrees awarded by other institutions may be reviewed on a case by case basis. 
    4. Submission of complete application packet:
      • Application form
      • Application fee ($50)
      • Two essays:
        - Statement of Intention Essay
        - Professional/Personal Essay
      • Official transcripts from all previous undergraduate and graduate institutions
      • Two Graduate Admission Reference forms: One from pastor or equivalent, one from employer or professor
      • If cumulative GPA is less than 3.0, at least one of the following as an indicator of academic ability:
        - Academic Essay
        - GRE or GMAT scores at or above the 50th percentile
      • Resume (optional)

    Financial Aid Application

    If you are applying for financial aid you will need these additional forms:

    Once your file is complete and has been reviewed by the admissions committee, you will be notified of your admission status within 1–2 weeks.
