NWC ranks 10 of 24 in the state of Minnesota
March 8—The Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal recently published a study of 1,100 college rankings based on “selectivity” in applicants accepted. Within the state of Minnesota, Northwestern was ranked 10 of 24 colleges, with an admissions rate of roughly 70 percent. Data for this study was limited to colleges that processed at least 1,000 applications a year.
In comparison with other area colleges, Northwestern’s admissions selection policy is above average. Admissions at Northwestern is determined by a number of factors including but not limited to ACT/SAT scores, essays and overall GPA.
