Northwestern Foundation

Northwestern Foundation was established in 1996 as a community foundation and works to facilitate the transfer of planned gifts that benefit Northwestern College and Northwestern Media programs as well as other charities.

The foundation also serves the key role of being the investment committee for Northwestern College and oversees the management and distribution of the institution’s investments. Northwestern Foundation manages more than 170 charitable gift annuities and 10 charitable trusts, plus nearly 200 endowed annual scholarships.

Northwestern Foundation is recognized by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service as a 509(a)(1) community foundation. Northwestern Foundation acts on behalf of Northwestern College in its administration of gifts through stocks and marketable securities, “in-kind” gifts (real estate, property, etc.) and estate plans (trusts, annuities, and bequests). All gifts are fully deductible to the extent allowed by your country of residence.
