TelevisionYour source for news and entertainment on the campus of Northwestern College.NWC7 is a low power television station located at Northwestern College in the Twin Cities. Its signal is cablecast inside the main dorms, sometimes on CTV15 in the Roseville area. They run a news program every Thursday just before chapel service. Whether onscreen or off, you can be sure that you'll have fun! NWC7 allows students to get a hands-on experience working in the the news industry for television. Learn how to read teleprompters and use impromptu speech, all the while speaking clearly. Over the years students have produced and broadcast a weekly late-night talk show, newscasts, and sporting events. NWC7 participants are often involved in televising various special events on campus. Participation in student television is open to all students, regardless of academic program.
