Ministry Major

The Ministry major is a flexible program to prepare students for a career of ministry in the church, on the mission field, or anywhere in the world. It also lays a foundation for seminary/graduate study.

The Ministry major focuses the student’s attention on courses in general Christian ministry and then in ministry specializations. Students choose a concentration in the form of a minor (other than Bible) OR an individualized group of interrelated courses chosen in consultation with the academic advisor and approved by the department chairperson.

Students Speak

“As a ministry major, I hope to be an influence in someone’s life through sharing Jesus Christ by taking what I learn and sharing it with them. The classes that I’m taking are opening my mind and eyes to know and learn a lot of things that I’ve never thought ministry could include.”
