Psychology Major

Does the study of human behavior fascinate you? Do you love to learn about the mind, body and emotions?
Students studying psychology will become familiar with a variety of counseling styles. Classes give students a knowledge base in general psychology and more specialized areas such as gender, marriage, family, stress, children and minority populations.
The psychology major lays a solid foundation for graduate work in psychology and counseling. Students will be prepared for graduate study or entry-level positions in the field of psychology.
Students Speak
“Interpersonal Psychology is one of my favorite classes because Dr. Chara crammed so much knowledge into one semester that is applicable to life. He always integrates a good amount of scripture as well, and shows how psychology and God apply to daily life.”
