Urban Studies MajorBy 2025, it is estimated that 75% of the world’s population will live in cities. The Urban Studies major prepares students to establish, develop, and carry out ministry or other work in an increasingly urban world, both in the local church and through parachurch ministries, local government and secular non-profits. The major also lays the foundation for graduate study. As a resident of a South Minneapolis neighborhood for fall and spring semester, you and your fellow students will take your classes and intern at a local church or non-profit in the neighborhood, fully experiencing city life firsthand before returning to Northwestern to prepare for graduation your senior year. >> Visit the Department of Christian Ministries>> Degree RequirementsWhat classes will I take?
