Northwest College

Annual Report

2010-11

President's Message

Paul B. Prestwich, Ph.DNorthwest College's 2010-11 Annual Report comes to you in a new online format. The report organizes just a few of the year's highlights according to Institutional Priorities in our 2008-11 Strategic Plan. Please have a look!

As I reflect on the year's successes and challenges, nowhere are Northwest's successes more vivid than in those of our students' accomplishments. Their achievements – visible in every academic discipline we offer and in numerous activities outside the classroom – enrich the fabric of our lives every day on this campus. Read more about them in the Student Achievement highlights.

Be sure to check out campus renovation projects in the Support highlights that were made possible thanks to State of Wyoming funding and NWC's wise stewardship of its budget reserves.

Continuing accreditation is another significant 2010-11 accomplishment. See Institutional Vitality for more details about this and other initiatives that are strengthening Northwest.

You'll learn about our newest instructional programs in Access and recent community collaborations in Partnerships.

As our nation and thousands of our higher education colleagues across the country feel the recession's profoundly difficult effects, we at Northwest College are grateful for Wyoming's solid financial environment as we look to the future. We're grateful, too, for the generosity of our alumni and other friends who believe in this institution. Their gifts to the NWC Foundation help make it possible for the college to provide our students with the finest experiences possible.
