Interacting with individuals who experience mental health problems can be one of the most challenging aspects of law enforcement work.  This training will focus on recognition of mental health problems, de-escalation techniques and tactical considerations for interacting with people experiencing a mental health problem.  

Crisis Intervention Team training (CIT) is based on the Memphis Model, and has been tailored to meet the needs and interests of law enforcement agencies in Wyoming.
