- Symphonic Band Releases new CD: The Northwestern College Symphonic Band, under the direction of Monte Mumford, has released a new CD, Gems from the Heart -a collection of live concert performances. CD's are $15 each and can be purchased from the Department of Music office. If you would like a CD mailed to you, shipping is $3. - The Department of Music is proud to announce Annabel Naglak and Barrett Radziun as winners of the 2010 Concerto-Aria Competition. They were among the 14 contestants that participated in the annual event held Saturday, February 6, 2010, in Nazareth Chapel. Chloe Paulson, French horn, and Angela Van Loon, soprano, were recognized with Honorable Mention.
