Step One - The Envelope
Each student will receive an envelope from Distance Education that includes a Welcome Letter. Students who are new to NWC will also receive a Library Letter and Computer Login Instruction sheet.

Welcome Letter
The Welcome Letter contains important information about your course including deadlines and billing details. It is very important that you read the information printed in this letter.

Library Letter
The Library Letter contains valuable information about the resources available to you through our library and Extended Campus Library Service. You will need the Barcode Number listed at the top of the letter for online access to materials.

Computer Login Instructions
Students who are new to Northwestern will receive an additional letter containing their Student ID number, NWC email address, and username and password. This information is necessary to successfully complete a course.
