PSEO
PSEO Overview
The Minnesota Postsecondary Enrollment Options (PSEO) program gives juniors and seniors in public or non-public high schools or home schools an opportunity to complete your high school requirements by taking non-sectarian courses at a participating college or university.
Northwestern College offers PSEO courses in a distance education format so you can participate in the program without having to attend classes on campus. It's a flexible program that allows you to schedule study times around other activities.
As a PSEO student, you have the opportunity to receive college credit and high school credit at the same time. Your tuition, books and registration fees are paid by the State of Minnesota. Plus, Northwestern College is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (www.ncahigherlearningcommission.org, 312-263-0456), so your credits will transfer to Northwestern's undergraduate programs or another college.
