Welcome to Admissions at Northwestern!

Discover Northwestern.

Here it is—a liberal arts college not ashamed to profess Jesus Christ as Lord and King. And we're committed to the aggressive pursuit of academic excellence. It's a package deal: outstanding education steeped in the passionate desire to glorify God above all.

Northwestern offers nearly 50 majors and has a lakeside campus in the northern suburbs of Minnesota's Twin Cities—only 15 minutes from downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul. We have nearly 2,000 students and an awesome 15:1 student/faculty ratio, so classes are small, focused and taught by professors who are dedicated to the integration of faith and learning.

Sign up for a Campus Visit Event today!

Sure you can “visit” us on our website and on Facebook, but nothing beats spending a day (or two) on campus. It’s the best way to get to know Northwestern and get a taste of campus life at this Christ-centered college.

The Four Pillars of Northwestern College
Wholeheartedly Christian
We want everything we do to point back to Jesus Christ, to honor Him not only in our worship services and Bible studies but also in athletics, at the lunchroom table, and in the dormitories.

Academically Excellent
"So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God" (1 Cor. 10:31). Whether you eat or drink or write or teach or paint or broadcast or design or sing or minister, do it all for the glory of God. Therefore, Northwestern offers a world-class education.

Focused on Community
There's no place in the world quite like Northwestern College. Northwestern's intentional community is a excellent source of encouragement during the college years.

Engaged in the World
College is not an invitation to put Christ's Great Commission on hold. At Northwestern, you'll find many opportunities—both local and abroad—to reach the world for Jesus Christ.

Sound too good to be true? See for yourself!
We invite you to spend time on our campus: take a tour, experience chapel, attend a class, meet current students. Visit us at one of our next campus visit events or arrange for your own personal visit.
