Diversity Awareness Committee

The Diversity Awareness Committee serves its diverse constituencies by creating a socially just and inclusive campus and community. We give voice to students and increase awareness and understanding of human diversity through an open exchange of ideas. 

The Diversity Awareness Committee works to bring multicultural program and trainings to the NWC campus. Below is a short list of programs we have supported:

• Portraits of Courage: African-Americans You Wish You Had Known
• 50 Years On: Brown and Proud
• Northwest College Multicultural Showcase
• Willie LeClair - Eastern Shoshone Tribe Member of the Wind River Indian Reservation in Wyoming
