P O W E L L, W y o. - "Introducing a Sales Culture-a Program for Owners and Managers" will be presented by Goldie Mandella of Ace Consulting Wednesday, Oct. 4, in Worland and the following Wednesday, Oct. 11, in Powell. Both presentations get underway at 11:30 a.m. at the Center for Technology and Innovation on NWC's West Campus in Powell and at the NWC Worland Center in the Worland Community Center Complex.

Mandella said her program is geared to business owners and managers who want to improve sales and increase profitability. She'll show attendees how to transform sales staff from simply "order taking" to a more proactive "consultative sales" culture. Accomplishing these changes in a motivational and non-threatening manner to maximize employee buy-in is the goal, and Mandella promises to share strategies to make it happen.

"In the current competitive market, the need for a "team" that excels in sales and service is more important than ever to the survival of both small and large businesses," Mandella said.

Both Worland and Powell seminars are sponsored through a partnership between the Wyoming Small Business Development Center, U.S. Small Business Administration, Wyoming Business Council and the Northwest College Center for Training and Development.

The cost per person is $25 and includes lunch. The Worland lunch is provided by the Wyoming Business Council, and the meal in Powell is sponsored by the Powell Valley Economic Development Alliance. Advance reservations are required by Oct. 3 for Worland and Oct. 10 for Powell. To reserve a seat, call Robbi Welch at (307) 754-2139 or toll free (800) 383-0371.
