P O W E L L,  W y o. - A group of 30 elementary teachers from South Korea invites area residents to a Korean Night at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24, in the Nelson Performing Arts Center Auditorium on the Northwest College campus.

The teachers plan an evening of colorful Korean dancing and music, highlighted by traditional costumes and the traditional Korean drum. The teachers, all associated with Eleutian Technologies, are in Park County for six months to improve their English skills through coursework at Northwest College.

They'll host a reception immediately following the program where they'll demonstrate their native calligraphy and sell Korean memorabilia such as dolls, key chains, a pencil box, etc. Proceeds from the sale will go to the Korean War Memorial in Cody.

Admission is free.
