Manufacturing Appreciation Tour & Lunch happening Friday, Oct. 4

POWELL, Wyo. - The importance of manufacturing to the Powell and Big Horn Basin economy will be publicly showcased with a free tour and lunch during the second annual  National Manufacturing Day celebration Friday, Oct. 4.

Designed to draw attention to the rewarding high-skill manufacturing jobs available locally, the local Manufacturing Appreciation Tour and Lunch gets underway at 10 a.m.

Participants will meet at the Northwest College Center for Training and Development (CTD) in Powell and be transported by van to Stuckey’s Sturdy Benches, followed by a tour through Wyoming Completion Technologies.

Lunch is provided at the CTD by Jitterbug Bakery. The afternoon lineup includes excursions to Production Machine, Summit ESP and Gluten Free Oats LLC.

The Manufacturing Appreciation Tour and Lunch is free, but advance registration is required to ensure enough food. Register online or call 307-754-6062.
