P O W E L L, W y o. - The public is invited to an all-trombone concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 31, in the Nelson Performing Arts Center on the Northwest College campus in Powell.

The concert culminates Trombone Day, an entire day of clinics and rehearsals for area trombone players. Trombonists who haven't yet registered are encouraged to join the activities. The workshops provide learning opportunities for all ages on a variety of trombone subjects. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. Interested trombonists can request music or get more information by e-mailing Rick Parmer or calling (307) 548-2647.

The entire day is free for both players and audience goers who take in the 7:30 p.m. concert.
