NWC Pig Sale is Saturday, April 28

P O W E L L, W y o. - Area 4-H and FFA members looking for pig project animals can bid on over 100 "Diamonds in the Rough" at Northwest College's annual Pig Sale Saturday, April 28, at the Stock Agriculture Pavilion north of Powell.

The animal preview starts at 10 a.m.; the actual sale begins at 1 p.m. Buyers are encouraged to arrive early to get a buyer number. Those who show up the night before can attend a free Show Livestock Training Clinic presented by Krisha Custis at 6 p.m. Friday, April 27.

Consigners for the sale include Lockman Show Pigs, HD Livestock, Gro Hogs, Gifford Girls Show Pigs, Ken Tone Farms, S&D Show Pigs, Custis Show Pigs, Darr Show Pigs and Travis Smith.

All pigs purchased at the sale are eligible for the futurity contest cash prizes at the June NWC Trapper Showdown.
