P O W E L L,  W y o. - Northwest College reminds Park County residents who are 60 years of age and older that they qualify for Golden Age privileges.

The most valuable monetary Golden Age benefit is a tuition waiver for up to six credit hours per semester. That's enough to cover two regular classes or several of the lesser-credit classes in health, outdoor and physical education. The tuition waiver can be used for any credit class, regardless of whether it's offered on-site, online or via interactive video. It doesn't cover fees and can't be applied to audited, noncredit and workforce development classes.

Golden Age card holders are admitted free to most of the college's social, cultural and athletic events. Plus they enjoy reduced rates to the Johnson Fitness Center and selected events.

To obtain an NWC Golden Age card, e-mail the NWC Enrollment Services Office or call  (307) 754-6149.
