Worland-area residents can get "Introduction to Computers" Feb. 19-March 4 at NWC Center

P O W E L L, W y o. - Amy Lamm will present a five-part Introduction to Computers workshop Tuesday and Thursday evenings, Feb. 19-March 4, at the Northwest College Worland Center for Training and Development.

The workshop is designed for anyone who would like to get a handle on computer fundamentals, utilize word processing and acquire some Internet basics. Participants work through a series of exercises to become familiar with basic computer terminology, plus hardware and software that is essential in today's technology.

They'll learn how to utilize the settings and elements of the operating system, weigh factors in purchasing a computer, access online help and many other basic computer functions. They learn word processing skills for everyday use, plus the ins and outs of e-mailing, Web-browsing, searching and many other features needed to move around on the World Wide Web.

Cost for the five 6-8 p.m. sessions is $75 and includes a comprehensive manual.
