To access the Carter Mountain climbs drive out of Cody as if heading to the South Fork on the Southfork Road. After 17 miles you will pass a dirt road turn off on the left with a "cautions trucks" sign and cattle guard. This is the Carter Mountain Access Road. Follow this road for about 10 miles into a clearing where you can see the mountainside. Continue down the road and it will make a trun to the left and there will be a pull-off/parking area on the right. Park there and hike up to the climbs.
The climbs here are nice short approach climbs from WI2 to WI5.
