Excursion Trips

Mountain topAt Northwest College, you’re really close to world-class natural resources with access to wild caves, whitewater rivers, rock and ice climbing and wilderness. But you'll also take a few trips farther from campus. Some of the most popular destinations are:

  • Yellowstone National Park in the fall
  • Desert Southwest on backpacking and river trips in spring
  • Mickelson Field Station, the college’s remote laboratory located in the Absaroka Mountains west of campus.

No equipment? No problem.

You can outfit yourself for any outdoor adventure FREE OF COST at NWC’s Recreation Equipment Co-op.
