Ronn Johnson
Lecturer in Biblical Studies

Ronn Johnson came to Northwestern College in 1996. He previously taught in the Bible departments at Pillsbury Baptist Bible College (1991-94) and The Master’s College (1994-96). He completed his M.Div. degree at Calvary Baptist Theological Seminary (Lansdale, PA) in 1988, his S.T.M. degree in systematic theology from Dallas Theological Seminary in 1990, and his Ph.D. in Bible exposition at Dallas Theological Seminary in 2004.
Since 2006, he has been the senior pastor at Coon Rapids Evangelical Free Church. He and his wife Susan have three teenage children. His pastimes include reading and giving too much attention to Kirby, the family dog.

“How Israelite Monotheism Informed ‘No Other Name’ Theology in the New Testament” presented at the national Evangelical Theological Society meeting in San Francisco, November 2011.
Dr. Johnson participated in an atheist/theist debate at North Dakota State University in late September 2011.
