Message from the CCC Staff Team
What do you want to be when you grow up? While this question is usually posed to our young child, we occasionally still worry when watching our adult child try to answer this question. We may wonder if our son or daughter is prepared, or about where and how he or she can find assistance and resources.
Northwestern’s Center for Calling & Career (CCC) offers a wide range of resources to help your son or daughter understand their unique God-given design, explore academic major and career options, gain practical experience and prepare to launch into life beyond college.
The CCC has a trained and experienced staff ready to work with your son or daughter through individual academic advising or career counseling, assessments, seminars, classes and workshops, career fairs and networking gatherings, internships, study abroad and more.
A Northwestern College education provides highly valued workplace skills that are transferable to a number of occupations: research and investigative skills, language skills, communication skills, critical and analytical thinking skills, artistic comprehension skills, and planning skills. The close interaction between professors, classmates, and administrators set in a residential community of learning provides a unique, rigorous, and holistic balance to developing your son or daughter as a professional.
We look forward to working with your son or daughter and helping them with decisions about their major, internship, career direction, graduate school, or other post-graduation plans. If we can answer any question or be of any service, please let us know.
