Northwestern College hosts the 2010 Faculty Scholarship Symposium on Friday, May 7 at the college’s St. Paul campus, presenting more than 20 faculty experts in a variety of fields ranging from Communications to Biblical & Theological Studies. Sessions begin at 9 a.m., are held on the second floor of Riley Hall and are free and open to the public.
Faculty members will be referencing various topics, ranging from forgiveness and Bible translation movements, to Christ-centered media and blended learning. To end the day, a faculty panel will discuss their visions for Northwestern College (2 p.m.). A full schedule including session subjects, presenters, times and locations is available online.
Northwestern prides itself on academic excellence and sets high standards for teaching, scholarship and performance, asking faculty to commit to continual development.
