March 13—Northwestern alumnus, Brian Gordon, announced his candidacy for Minnesota House of Representatives from District 41A. The district includes Fridley and parts of New Brighton and Spring Lake Park.
“I am thrilled to announce my candidacy to represent the residents in Fridley, New Brighton, and Spring Lake Park,” said Gordon. “The recent redistricting, I believe, has provided an opportunity for a Republican to offer a new, thoughtful alternative for the residents of this house district.”
As a state representative, Gordon plans to push for economic growth policies, pro-jobs legislation, and streamlined government service to the citizens.
The nearly 40,000 people in this newly configured district must have a voice in St. Paul that will be heard. I will be that voice,” said Gordon.
Gordan currently works in constituent services for U.S. Representative Chip Cravaack and previously for the Bachmann for Congress campaign. He and his wife reside in Fridley.
