Northwestern's FOCUS Program Announces New Class Venue in Brooklyn Park
November 17—Northwestern College has added a course location in Brooklyn Park, Minn. for the FOCUS Degree Completion program. Beginning in January 2012, FOCUS students will be able to take business and psychology courses at Maranatha Christian Academy at 9201 75th Avenue North in Brooklyn Park.
According to Vickie Bakken, director of recruitment for Graduate & Continuing Education at Northwestern, the addition of a new venue is part of a strategic initiative to make the FOCUS program more accessible to students. “Our one-night-a-week format is already a plus for working adults,” Bakken said. “Now with courses available beyond our St. Paul campus FOCUS will be an even more convenient option for people who want to complete their degree.”
FOCUS Degree Completion offers bachelor’s degrees in 11 areas of study plus associate’s degree and certificate programs.
