How and why do I pay my deposit?
Your enrollment deposit of $200 officially secures a place for you at Northwestern.
The fully refundable (until May 1st) money goes directly towards your first semester bill, while also allowing you to sign up for housing. Because Northwestern has integrated housing (freshmen can live anywhere on campus), the earlier you pay your deposit, the better priority you'll have when it comes to getting the dorm you want.
All housing assignments are done on a first come first serve basis based on the date students pay their $200 enrollment deposit.
There are two easy ways to pay your deposit:
Click on the link above to pay online with a checking account or by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express). This is the recommended option, as it is the quickest and easiest way to pay your deposit. Be sure to have your student ID handy to complete your online payment!
2. Drop off or mail a check to the Northwestern Admissions Office.
Make the check payable to "Northwestern College."
