How do I submit my housing preferences?
1. Log-in to theROCK and find the "Residence Life & Housing" channel under the "Campus Services" tab.
If you don't know your username and password for theROCK, check the mailings you've received from Northwestern since being admitted.
2. Once you've located the "Residence Life & Housing" channel, click on "Log-in to RMS Housing Software" link.
If prompted to log-in again, use the same username and password that you used to log-in to theROCK.
3. After logging into the RMS Housing Software, click on the preferences link on the left side of the screen.
Follow the instructions to submit your room and roommate preferences.
4. If you have specific roommate preferences, you and your desired roommates will need to share your RMS ID numbers.
To find your personal RMS ID number, click on the RMS ID LookUp link on left side of the RMS Housing Software.
