As part of our stewardship and commitment to excellence for Christ’s Kingdom, we have established strategic priorities to advance Northwestern to a position of continued leadership as a Christian institution of higher learning.
Annual giving to the Northwestern Fund is an essential priority for the college. This fund provides an across-the-board tuition reduction for all students and plays a vital role in making a Northwestern education accessible. With an annual goal of $1.1 million, the Office of Annual Giving actively engages with alumni, donors and friends of the college to keep this essential avenue of support strong.
Endowment Funding
The Northwestern College endowment is the financial foundation of our institution, allowing us to look to the future with confidence. With a healthy and growing endowment, Northwestern will be able to seek new levels of academic excellence while standing firmly on our values.
Endowed scholarships are a critical component of our strategic priorities, enabling us to attract dynamic Christian students by offering competitive financial aid and ensuring that students can focus on academics rather than shoulder heavy financial burdens.
In addition, endowment funds strengthen Northwestern by helping maintain critical campus facilities, fitting our buildings for the future while preserving the architectural integrity and beauty of our historic campus.
Northwestern is committed to raise funds for capital projects through long-term capital campaigns which reach both into and beyond the Northwestern community. Our most recent effort, Envision Excellence – A Capital Campaign for Student Spiritual Life, was a multi-million dollar campaign to provide funds for the college to fulfill its mission and to follow its long-range strategic plan. The centerpiece of this campaign, the Billy Graham Community Life Commons, is now open and serving students as a result of this successful campaign.
