You may not know it, but a degree in English offers much more than you think. The ability to write clearly, communicate effectively, and work independently are among the skills most desired by employers today, and you’ll develop all of those with an A.A. in English Studies at Northwest College. Journalism, education, publishing, public relations, media, politics, and nonprofits are among the fields where English majors are employed, and many people who work in the legal field also earned degrees in this versatile program. Specific jobs might include working as a copywriter, communications officer, content manager, research analyst, program administrator… the list seems endless, and it offers endless possibilities.
