Maybe you enjoy learning about world cultures and history, or have an interest in politics, law enforcement or the criminal justice system. If you’re fascinated by any of those topics, then a degree in the social sciences would be a good fit. Northwest College offers associate degrees in such diverse fields as anthropology, archaeology, criminal justice, history, political science, psychology, sociology, and a wide-ranging A.A. in social science as well. All of them emphasize critical thinking, effective communication, and research skills, with students learning to address real-world issues through classroom study and field exercises that prepare you for a successful career in a variety of areas, or more advanced degrees.
