Moving On: Davis accepts Fort Lewis Position
After three years at the helm, Northwest College women’s basketball coach Lauren Davis is moving on. Earlier this week she accepted a position as head coach at Fort Lewis College, an NCAA Division II school in Durango, Colorado.

Northwest College Wrestler Honored For Extraordinary Heroism
Kendell Cummings isn’t sure what he’ll do when he returns home after graduating from Northwest College, but he’ll be taking a rare medal with him when he goes. The Trapper wrestler who grabbed a grizzly bear by the ear to save his friend has now been honored for his heroism.

Rogers, Silva Earn Postseason Honors
Two Northwest College women’s basketball players earned postseason honors for their efforts this past season, as sophomore guard Roxanne Rogers was named first team All-Region for the second consecutive year and freshman guard Bianca Silva was named to the All-Defensive team.

Hayes Garners Honors
Ramping up the intensity during the second half of the season, freshman guard Colin Hayes pushed the pace and earned two postseason honors, being named to the Region IX All-Tournament team as well as second team All-Region after a strong campaign.

Shooting Slump: Difficult Night Ends Trappers' Season
Poor shooting brought the Northwest College men’s basketball season to an end last Thursday, as the Trappers dropped their Region IX quarterfinal game to host Western Nebraska 84-72.
