Test Proctoring

Policies & Procedures

NWC CTD Testing Policies

  • Clients must schedule testing appointments at least 72 hours in advance during business hours (please see specifics for TEAS and HESI testing - these tests will need more advance notice). No same day walk-ins will be taken. Proctors will determine availability - days and times are limited.

  • Students will need to present one valid form of picture ID before testing. Student ID, driver’s license, military ID, and passports are a valid form of ID. No one will be admitted without a current, valid ID.

  • The NWC CTD will be closed on all weekends and school holidays and as posted. If the NWC CTD must close at other times, scheduled clients will be notified.

  • Appointments will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis and once seating is full, no more students will be scheduled at that time.

  • If unable to keep an appointment, students must call to reschedule PRIOR to scheduled appointment rather than showing up at an alternate time.

  • Cellular phones must be turned off while testing and, together with all other personal items including watches, will not be allowed during testing.

  • Pockets will be empty during testing.
  • No hoods, coats, jackets, or hats are allowed in the testing room.

  • All scratch paper and writing utensils will be supplied by the proctor.

  • No food or drinks, other than bottled water in a clear plastic container with all labels removed, will be allowed in the testing room. All water that is allowed must be kept on the floor, not on the desktop.

  • No children are allowed in the testing room.

  • ADA testing is available to candidates with documented needs. Please contact the proctor in advance of testing to determine necessary documentation.

  • Just a reminder -- strong odors (i.e. perfume, lotions) can be offensive or dangerous to other testing candidates. Clients with strong odors may be asked to leave and reschedule their testing appointment.
