Moving On: Davis accepts Fort Lewis Position
After three years at the helm, Northwest College women’s basketball coach Lauren Davis is moving on. Earlier this week she accepted a position as head coach at Fort Lewis College, an NCAA Division II school in Durango, Colorado.

Rogers, Silva Earn Postseason Honors
Two Northwest College women’s basketball players earned postseason honors for their efforts this past season, as sophomore guard Roxanne Rogers was named first team All-Region for the second consecutive year and freshman guard Bianca Silva was named to the All-Defensive team.

Difficult Ending: Shorthanded Trappers Battle To Season's End
Shorthanded and battling for a spot in the Region IX tournament, the Northwest College women’s basketball team gave it a shot at Gillette College for the second weekend in a row, with the Pronghorns pulling away in the fourth quarter of the play-in game to end the Trappers’ season 85-67 last Friday.

Last Second Loss: Trapper Women Fall In Regular Season Finale
Needing a win to secure a home play-in game, the Northwest College women’s basketball team had a win snatched away by the final shot in Gillette on Saturday, as the Trappers fell on the wrong side of a 72-71 buzzer beating defeat to the Pronghorns. The loss sets up a rematch of the two teams to open the region tournament.

Disappointing Defeats At Home
Rebounding proved to be the difference in the final two home games for the Trappers, as they fell short against Casper College 72-64 last Wednesday and lost a second half lead to Western Wyoming 73-65 on Saturday.
