Back on the road after the Apodacas the Northwest College wrestling team made a quick trip to Rock Springs to take on Trinidad State, defeating the Trojans 35-24.

Pinkerton Named Apodaca Award Winner
A night filled with emotion in Cabre Gym honored the memory of Brooks Apodaca on Friday night, with sophomore heavyweight wrestler Cody Pinkerton becoming the 24th member to receive the award named for the former Trapper wrestler.

A weekend filled with emotion, excitement and a lot of talented wrestlers brought fans to Cabre Gym, leading to one of the biggest moments of the season for the Northwest College wrestling team during the Apodaca Duals on Friday and Saturday.

Apodaca Duals Commence Friday
Nearly three months competing away from home will come to an end for the Northwest College wrestling team, as they host the Apodaca Duals on Friday and Saturday. That will be the first action after returning home from the NJCAA Coaches Duals on Jan. 12 and 13 in Miami, Oklahoma, where the Trappers had strong individual performances but finished 1-3 in duals.

After more than a month away from competition the Northwest College wrestling team will hit the mat this weekend, heading to Miami, Oklahoma, to take part in the NJCAA Coaches Duals on Friday and Saturday.
