Native Ways Student Center

The Native Ways Student Center is located in room 111 of the Orendorff Building. We are committed to the retention and academic/personal success of American Indian (AI) and Alaskan Native (AN) students at Northwest College. We provide a home away from home for the AI/AN students, and their families, attending NWC.

Our support services include a computer lab, study space and small lounge, scholarship information and information on campus resources and support. We hold monthly activities for AI students. Join us for monthly talking circles and lunches, movie nights, and cultural programs. 

Goals of the Native Ways Student Center:

  • Provide support for Native American students attending NWC
  • Serve as a resource on Native American culture for the NWC community
  • Develop learning-centered opportunities to help students become leaders in a diverse society
  • Recruitment, outreach, retention and graduation completion of American
