Transfer students are required to meet SDSM&T's General Education Requirements and take the South Dakota Board of Regents Proficiency Examination. Make sure to look at your specific department's requirements. SDSM&T have provided a checklist of course that will transfer.
South Dakota School of Mines & Technology's General Education Requirements are the following: 6 credits of English; 3 credits of Communication; 6 credits of Social Science; 6 credits of Arts & Humanities; 3 credits of Math; 6 credits of Natural Science (at least one lab); and 6 credits of Cultural Diversity.
