Done homeschooling? Apply like any new student.
All NWC Needs is a "Home School Transcript" and an application for admission. The ACT/SAT is not required and a student can take a placement test with us instead of the ACT or SAT.

Wyoming's dual enrollment funding rules are still in draft form. Public comment closes September 27, 2026. Everything below is subject to change.
Enrolled with a public school district, even part time?
Your district may qualify for state reimbursement, if it has a signed agreement with NWC. Start with your district office.
Homeschooling independently?
District reimbursement doesn't apply to you, but you're not out of options:
- Steamboat Legacy ESA funds may cover dual enrollment costs directly.
- A separate WCCC fund exists just for students outside district agreements.

Charter school student?
District funding doesn't apply, but the WCCC fund still might.
