Emergency Contacts

CALL 9-1-1 for police, fire, or medical emergencies when immediate action is required: someone's health, safety or property is in jeopardy or a crime is in progress.

When calling 911, you should use clear language to state:

  1. your location
  2. the type of emergency, and
  3. your phone number

You can start by saying, "I need [service] at [address]". The operator can then dispatch emergency responders while you continue to provide details.
