The Northwest College Education Department is hosting a free workshop open to all early childhood professionals in the Bighorn Basin. Titled “Joyful Learning in Early Childhood”, the event takes place from 6:30 p.m. – 8 p.m. in the Yellowstone Building Conference Center and will be led by NWC Assistant Professor of Education Dr. Cammy Rowley, NWC Instructor of Education Jo-el Sauers, and University of Wyoming Learning Specialist Tyler Gonzalez.
The event includes an overview of the Northwest College Early Childhood Education program and presentation about the importance of play and the role of early childhood professionals in planning and documenting play.
Participants are eligible for one STARS hour and are asked to RSVP at the link provided.
