We provide safety and security information for every country of the world to help you assess for yourself the risks of travel. Each country information page contains a Travel Advisory, Alerts, and other important details specific to that country that could affect you. Pay close attention to the entry and exit requirements, local laws and customs, health conditions, and other details to decide whether traveling to that country is right for you. You will also find the address and phone number of the nearest U.S. embassy or consulate. Take those with you in case of an emergency.

Gale's Global Reference on the Environment, Energy, and Natural Resources focuses on the physical, social, and economic aspects of environmental issues. Portals include authoritative analysis, academic journals, news, case studies, legislation, conference proceedings, primary source documents, statistics, and rich multimedia. Gardening, Landscape, and Horticulture Collection provides access to academic journals and magazines focused on both the practical aspects as well as the scientific theory of horticulture studies. The database offers biotechnologists, farmers, hobbyists, and landscape architects alike access to important content relevant to their pursuits.

General OneFile is Gale's largest general-interest database with more than 8,000 titles (most in full text with no embargo), many of which are recommended by Bowker's Magazines for Libraries. We've included the reference, newspaper, and audio content that complements the resource's robust collection of magazines and journals.

From Gale, this database provides perspectives on International news, events, health, business, foreign conflict, science, society, politics, women and family and other issues as well as maps, history and other tools.

Note: You may access Grzimek's through Gale Reference (GVRL). In advanced search under "publication title" enter "Grzimek's." This is the standard, premier animal encyclopedia that includes ancillary topics such as biomes, endangered species, prehistoric animals, etc. and media additions (interactive maps, photos, video and audio tracks).

IF YOU ARE OFF CAMPUS: Once you are at Kanopy's website, they will ask you to login with your NWC user/pass.  Then you will login with your personal Kanopy login.

IF YOU ARE ON CAMPUS: You must disable the hardware acceleration in Chrome. Go to Settings (clicking on the ... in the upper right hand corner) enter "hardware accel" in the search box, then toggle off "Use hardware acceleration when available". Close Chrome and reopen and go to the Kanopy website.

Gale Databases

Nature (London) is accessed through a variety of library databases. Most have a one year embargo; however, the current year is indexed and articles may be requested through interlibrary loan.

Popular Magazines provides access to the most searched magazines across the InfoTrac products. All of the titles are selected based on actual publication searches performed by library patrons and the database includes many titles recommended by Bowker's "Magazines for Libraries".

Provided through the Wyoming State Library by the University of Wyoming Library. This database is a definitive resource for students studying both the applied and general sciences. With coverage dating back to 1986, ProQuest Science Journals features over 1030 titles, with more than 760 available in full text. Search over 2.7M records, dating back to the mid 1980s.

This database contains Wyoming government agency documents and federal publications concerning the State of Wyoming. You'll find budget requests, agency reports, and more.

Welcome to the Wyoming Trademarks database which catalogs Wyoming trademarks, both current and archived, issued since 1881. Physical records are located at the Wyoming Secretary of State (current trademarks) and the Wyoming State Archives (archived trademarks).
