Northwest College drilled No. 15 Otero 3-1 in men’s soccer action in the latest installment of the budding rivalry between the two teams. Northwest and Otero have met in each of the last two Region IX title games, splitting the results.

NWC sweeps Western Nebraska
The Northwest College soccer teams split Region IX games at Trapper Field over the weekend. Both the NWC men’s and women’s teams scored 4-1 victories over Western Nebraska on Friday. Both teams lost by identical 3-1 counts to Laramie County Community College on Saturday.

NWC Trapper soccer explodes on home field
Northwest College opened the home portion of its 2012 soccer schedule sporting a new scoreboard in the northwest corner of Trapper Field. They spent the remainder of the weekend ensuring that it got a workout.

Women's soccer blanks North Idaho
The Northwest College women’s soccer team achieved a rarity last weekend when they posted a 2-0 victory over North Idaho College. It marked the first time North Idaho lost a regular- season game on its home field since August 2010.

Trapper soccer teams defeat Northwest Tech
The Northwest College soccer teams defeated Northwest Tech last weekend by identical 2-1 final scores. The victory by the Trapper men came in overtime. Both teams also dropped 2-0 decisions to Barton Community College.
