POWELL, Wyo. - The Northwest College Forensics Team notched another win at the 2010 Pioneer Trails Invitational Oct. 7-9 at Casper College.

From a pool of 10 teams, NWC lead the way, followed by Carroll College and the United States Air Force Academy.

Individual team members brought home more than 25 awards to put Northwest in first place in open debate, first among two-year colleges and first overall (both two- and four-year colleges.).

Shelby Moore of Powell won the Pioneer Trails individual sweepstakes for the second consecutive year, earning more points as an individual than any other student. Lacy Kennedy of Townsend, Mont., took second.

The team is on the road again Oct. 29-31 for the Al Johnson Invitational in Colorado Springs, Colo.
