POWELL, Wyo. - The Northwest Civic Orchestra, under the baton of Maurine Akin, will present an evening of chamber music beginning at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 7, in the Nelson Performing Arts Center Auditorium in Powell.

In addition to her conducting duties at the podium, Akin will also conduct as a player from her first violin chair. The program includes Bach's "Brandenburg 3," Barber's "Adagio for Strings," Boccherini's "Celebrated Minuet" and Grieg's "Holberg Suite." The strings-only concert will feature harpsichord on one selection.
