POWELL, Wyo. - Discovering one’s inner wisdom is the subject of a PSYCH-K® Workshop offered through Northwest College’s Center for Training and Development later this month.

The Friday-Saturday, July 22-23, workshop is from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at NWC’s Nelson House at 550 College Drive.

Focusing on connecting participants’ three minds—conscious, subconscious and superconscious—participants will discover their mind/body’s inner wisdom and its “ability to change lifelong negative, self-limiting beliefs and impressions into positive life-enhancing beliefs,” according to workshop materials. Topics include spirituality, personal power, relationships, grief/loss, self-esteem, health/body and prosperity.

Area nurses can earn 13 continuing education units at the workshop, and approval is being sought for Professional Teaching Standards Board credit.

Instructor for the two-day session is 30-year business entrepreneur Karen McKy, a hypnotherapist and certified PSYCH-K® instructor.

Tuition is $600, with a “bring-a-buddy special” allowing attendance at $500 per person. In addition, anyone who enrolls four students at $500 each may attend free.
