POWELL, Wyo. - The Northwest College Equine Center will sponsor the Barbara Bell Dressage/Jumping Clinic Saturday and Sunday, March 26 and 27, in Powell.

Bell will conduct semi-private dressage sessions in the mornings and group jumping sessions in the afternoons on both days.

All experience levels, in both horse and rider, are welcome.

Cost is $30 to participate in a one-hour dressage session or 75-minute jumping session. Prepayment by Wednesday, March 23, is required to reserve a ride spot.

There’s no charge for auditors.

A Pennsylvania native, Bell has been involved in showing, dressage and eventing since childhood. She’s a competitor, instructor, trainer and judge currently based at Crooked Creek Equestrian Center north of Lovell.

Bell won the United States Eventing Association’s Preliminary Western DeBroke Championship at the 2001 Jackson Hole Horse Trails. She’s competed in dressage through the third level, attaining scores toward the United States Dressage Foundation (USDF) Bronze Medal. She’s also a graduate of the USDF “L” Judge Program.

For more information or to reserve a riding spot, e-mail or call Anne Sherwood at 307-754-6471. Additional information can also be found online.
