Experience Day 2022 Scheduled for February 28 at Northwest College

Registration is now open for Experience Day 2022, a complete day of activities designed to give future and prospective students an inside look at Northwest College and all it offers. Experience Day is scheduled for Monday, February 28, from 8:30 a.m. – 2 p.m., with some academic programs requiring students to remain until 4 p.m. for additional scholarship opportunities.

Experience Day participants can engage in classroom activities based on area of academic interest, meet professors, learn more about what scholarships and financial aid options are available, and discover what Northwest College is all about. Lunch is also provided free of charge in the Northwest College dining hall for registered participants, and parent or family meals are just $8 per person.

Scheduled activities include:

• Campus Tour: Visit college facilities with our NWC student ambassadors and meet staff and students throughout campus. Take a closer look at residence halls and the many services and support areas available to Northwest College students.
• Meet Your Major: Learn more details about programs related to your academic interests and take part in hands-on educational activities. Talk with instructors who can provide even greater insight into potential majors and what to expect as a NWC student.
• Parent/Guardian Session: Learn about NWC services and opportunities available to students and how the College can support them through their academic careers. Take part in a Q&A session covering topics such as FERPA and student support at home.

Select academic programs may require an audition or portfolio review (e.g., music, art, graphic design, and photography), where students will have the opportunity to showcase their talent for potential scholarship opportunities.

There is no cost to attend Experience Day, but participants must register at https://events.nwc.edu/event/nwc.events.221494. Future opportunities to visit Northwest College are also available for students unable to attend on February 28.
