POWELL, Wyo. - Area students looking for 4-H and FFA livestock project animals can choose from 50 pigs and 25 lambs at the Bridges Kidz Sale Saturday, April 5, at the Paul Stock Ag Pavilion in Powell.

The preview starts at 10 a.m.; bidding commences at 1 p.m.

Travis Swenson of Swenson’s Auctions and Appraisals will do the auctioneering. He encourages buyers to arrive early to get a buyer number. The Paul Stock Ag Pavilion is located north of Powell at 710 Road 9.

The Bridges kids are known for their prize-winning hogs. Their feeder pigs have produced champions the last two years in Big Horn and Park County fairs.

The Northwest College Livestock Team will contribute 25 elite show lambs to round out the sale.

Any grand champion animal purchased from this sale will earn a $250 credit at next year’s sale. Reserve grand champions bring $100 in the payback program.

For more information about the sale or the feeder pigs available for bid, call Joe Bridges at 307-272-2324. To learn more about the auction lambs, call or email Quin LaFollette, NWC ag pavilion and judging coordinator, at 307-754-6019.
